Cyber Security – protecting customer data

Security is essential to us as it is to you. Protecting your data is critical to the sustainability of our business as well as keeping the trust of our customers and investors, so we’ve taken the following steps to protect your data:

1. We use bcrypt algorithm with ten rounds to save your password
2. Any user information sent over the network is encrypted.
3. We use AWS KMS for storing users’ secret key
4. We use 256-bit encryption on transferring data
5. We use symmetric cryptography (AES) to store any user data
6. Our servers run on Digital Ocean, where the data centres are co-located in some of the most respected data centre facility providers in the world

Accessing your Personal Account (AIS)

TAXO’D do not and cannot access your bank account directly. We are registered with the FCA as an agent of Trulayer Limited, who are authorised by the FCA as a payment institution (ref: 793171). Truelayer’s technology enables TAXO’D to provide account information services.
